Concert at Ravindra Kalakshetra
There were two sessions - morning was old kannada songs. This was graced by Rajan of Rajan-Nagendra - the great music director duo and Hamsalekha, another great music director.
I got to sing a Salil Choudhary melody, Jo jo lali, originally sung by Yesudas.
Evening session had old Hindi songs, and I rendered another Yesudas song - Maana ho tum.
Farishta team of Worldspace, including Seetal Iyer, was present and felicitated the performers.
It was a great experience as I got to perform live in front of and along with some of the greatest musicians in Kannada music.
